You will construct a new, strategic billing platform based on SAP UC4G that will serve as the backbone for the entire German Group. This is not just a technical upgrade; it is a fundamental shift towards maximum automation, standardization, and harmonization.
By the end of Q3 2026, we will have a unified platform that allows us to bill all products and services efficiently. This initiative is critical for securing our competitiveness, reducing time-to-market for new products, and ensuring we can adapt to regulatory changes instantly.
The Mission (What you will do)
We are looking for a pioneer to embed Artificial Intelligence directly into our development squads. You won't just be building AI tools; you will be teaching the team how to build with AI.
Your primary mission is to increase delivery velocity and automation levels measurably. By the time you hand over the project, the squad must be self-reliant and operating in an "AI-first" manner, using AI not as a novelty, but as the standard way of working for development, documentation, and quality assurance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI Integration & Enablement: Build and operate AI solutions directly within the squad (Agents, Automations, Scripts, Integrations). Actively support the team in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and coding.
Measurable Delivery: Increase the level of automation and delivery velocity, providing a measurable contribution to increased efficiency.
Team Empowerment: Enable the squad to work independently and "AI-first" post-handover.
Cultural Shift: Establish AI as the standard way of working to increase efficiency across development, documentation, and QA.
Best Practices: Define and establish clear guidelines and methods for the effective use of AI specifically within the SAP context, further developing the team towards these new working methods.
What you bring to the table
Essential (AI & Tooling):
Deep experience using AI tools in a professional work context (e.g., Copilots, LLMs such as Claude Code, Code Assistants, or similar).
Proven ability to use AI effectively for requirements analysis, documentation, solution design, coding, and testing.
A solid understanding of the limits, risks, and sensible application scenarios of AI—knowing when to use it and when to rely on traditional methods.
Highly Advantageous (SAP & Tech Stack):
SAP Utilities Knowledge: Experience with UC4G, IS-U, or S/4HANA.
Integration Know-how: Strong understanding of APIs, interfaces, and complex data flows.
Coding Knowledge: Basic knowledge of ABAP, Python, or comparable technologies.
Cloud Architecture: Knowledge of modern cloud architectures and the SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
