- Mostly remote possible - 1 week for onboarding in Hamburg nice but not necessary
- Start date ideally 01.10. for 3-4 months, 30h/week on 4-5 days a week

Scope of work:
- Spearhead annual operating plans (AOP) and periodic forecasts for plant-level expenses and capital expenditures.
- Implement uniform financial controls and reporting cadence across all sites to ensure compliance and consistent performance tracking.
- Lead analysis the financial impact of manufacturing footprint changes, make-or-buy decisions, and logistics costs
- Partner with Other Financial team members in Operations, Procurement, and Executive leadership to identify and execute structural cost-reduction initiatives.
- Deliver executive‑ready reporting and financial storytelling for Senior Leadership and board forums
- Oversight of all EMEA Financial Controllers (Senior Managers and Directors) of key aspects of Finance, including monthly close, budget and long-term planning
- Drive performance management—define KPIs, analyzes profitability drivers, and surface insights that inform action.
- Strengthen FP&A governance, cadence, and analytical frameworks to improve accuracy, transparency, and decision support.
- Lead and provide strategic financial analysis for major initiatives (e.g., capital investments, acquisitions, enterprise programs).
- Build, mentor, and elevate performance of direct report(s) and analytical capacity of EMEA finance team.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Perform divisional business analytics along with factory performance and provide variance analysis, key drivers and discuss mitigation measures
- Co-lead the budget process and develops long-term financial forecasts that align with company growth goals with Senior Director
- Provide strategic and financial recommendations, analytics on key projects within Manufacturing and Operations
- Enhance and lead alignment and drive process for EMEA region and oversee consolidation of the financials for the region
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for financial aspects of departmental functions to provide recommendations and maintain efficient operations.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, tracking key variances, changes, and opportunities in actual results versus forecasts.
- Continuing to enhance Global LRP partnering with overall CMSO Finance team and budget setting process with a focus on streamlining the process.
- Oversight of EMEA CMSO Finance to ensure adherence to global process and requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years experience in a similar position
- Manufacturing background needed; med tech background nice-to-have
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection
- Strong knowledge of EMEA GAAP and IFRS
- Cost accounting experience
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office and SAP financial software - experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system is a bonus
- Good planning and organizational skills

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.um amount of formal education, certification, or licensure needed
- Excellent english skills necessary since hiring manager works in the US.
